Norwegian Contractors achieved a world record in 1986 with its Oseberg A platform, the world's largest slipform. Oseberg A has 30 cells, each with a diameter of 25 meters (82 feet) and the platform covers an area of 17,000 square meters (182,920 square feet). The slipform has a linear edge length of 3,650 meters (11,972 feet).
